These terms cover the text messages Sidelined sends to accountability partners.

Who gets texts

A Sidelined user can name one person as their accountability partner. That person first receives a single invitation text with a link. They receive nothing else unless they tap Accept on the page the link opens. If they decline or ignore it, no further texts are sent.

What the texts are about

• The invitation to be someone's accountability partner;
• Requests from that person to unlock their block, with a link to answer;
• A notice when they use one of their emergency unlocks;
• A notice if Sidelined's protection is turned off on their phone.

Sidelined never sends marketing or promotional texts to partners.

How often

Message frequency varies with how often the person you support asks for a break, usually a few messages a week or fewer.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Delivery

Mobile carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
